In 2022, the anonymous man, known as Toco, reached out to a professional agency called Zeppet and requested to have a costume made of a Collie dog, according to a report from NDTV. The costume, which cost around $16,000, took 40 days to be completed.

On his YouTube channel, Toco documented his new life experiences, such as his “training” to become a dog, which included learning tricks, going for walks on a leash, and “eating” dog food.

Now, in a recent interview, he has expressed his interest in turning into another animal, such as another dog breed, a panda, a bear, a fox, or a cat. “Of course, I would like to become another animal as well,” he said in a conversation with the Japanese news portal WanQol.

“I could realistically be able to become another dog breed, a panda, or a bear. A fox or a cat would also be cool, but they are too small for humans to try. I would like to realize my dream of becoming another animal someday.”

Although he has posted videos about his journey and amassed over 67,000 subscribers, Toco has not revealed his identity, admitting to being concerned about people’s opinions, especially those of his family and colleagues.

But on social media, he receives many supportive comments from viewers who admire his dedication. “It’s truly a happy experience to be able to become something other than myself. I get excited and happy to be someone other than myself,” celebrated Toco.
